Welcome to Orakei Bay

Orakei Bay has a rich 40 year history as one of Auckland’s most iconic waterside wedding, function & event venues.

Just 7 minutes by car (or 10 minutes by train) from Auckland’s CBD, and with 60 free carparks for your guests, our venue is conveniently located on the tranquil shore of Orakei Basin. With floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water and a lawn and garden framed by Pohutukawa trees, Orakei Bay is a local treasure.

Orakei Bay has been managed and operated by Collective Hospitality since 2011, and has undergone a refresh in the winter of 2025.
