Meet Logan Coath

Logan is a thoughtful, values-driven chef whose approach to food has been shaped by kitchens across New Zealand and London, and by a deep respect for the people and producers behind every ingredient.

Logan’s path to hospitality wasn’t traditional. He began his career in IT, but a growing passion for food, restaurants, and the sense of connection found around a table eventually drew him into the kitchen. What followed was a pursuit of excellence that took him to London, where he trained in classic French restaurants under exacting standards. On his first day, breaking down eleven rabbits, he learned a lesson that continues to guide him today: great food begins with respect - for the ingredient, the craft, and the people who bring it to life.

Logan’s cooking celebrates honest ingredients, ethical sourcing, and producers who share his commitment to craft. Rather than chasing theatrics, he champions flavour, integrity, and connection - creating food that is both elevated and grounded in purpose.
